Matt Schaub's struggles has led may fans to be irate about the quarterback's performance in the Texans' first five games this season, with several taking to social media and message boards to express their disappointment. Others, however, have reportedly taken their complaints beyond Twitter and Facebook.

According to The Fred and Ted Show, a Houston radio program, the Texans quarterback was approached by angry fans outside his home.

A source connected with local law enforcement told the show, "A fan went to his house and told him off." The source also alleged that somebody else took pictures of Schaub's family and posted them on Facebook.

The fans reportedly left on their own accord.

It is believed by the show's source Schaub and the Texans contacted NFL Security following the incident which in turn contacted police, but the Houston Police Department denied they were called to the home via their Twitter page on Wednesday morning.

Schaub recorded three interceptions in the Texans' 34-3 loss to the 49ers Sunday, one of which was a pick six, giving him four straight games with an interception being returned for a touchdown.
