Report: Bob Stoops set to make $5 million at Oklahoma

Bob Stoops is about a day away from becoming the latest $5 million coach.
According to CBSSports.com, Stoops is expected to make $5 million next season, which is sooner than in his current deal which was reportedly set to pay him $5 per year starting in 2016.
Other coaches making $5 per year: Nick Saban ($6.9 million), Charlie Strong ($5 million) and Kevin Sumlin ($5 million).
Stoops signed a seven-year, $34.5 million deal in 2011 and received an extension through 2020 last summer.
The Oklahoma Board of Regents is expected to sign the new deal Wednesday.
The Sooners have 10 or more wins in four-consecutive years, including last season when OU beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and went 11-2.
Stoops has been at OU since the 1999 season. Only Kirk Ferentz of Iowa and Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech have been with their schools longer.
