Running back Reggie Bush, hampered by an injured left knee, returned for portions of Friday's practice and is listed as questionable on the Detroit Lions' official injury report for Sunday's game at Washington.
How his knee responds to Friday's workout likely will determine whether Bush is in the lineup this week.
It's certainly an encouraging sign that he got back on the field, but defensive tackle Nick Fairley (shoulder) came back to practice last Friday and then didn't play two days later at Arizona.
Bush could be turn out to be a game-time decision.
He was injured in the second quarter of a loss to the Cardinals when he took a helmet to the knee while getting tackled.
