The Reds on Wednesday agreed to a six-year, $105 million deal with starter Homer Bailey.
Bailey had said Monday, "We're going in the right direction. The majority of it is worked out."
The contract will allow the two parties to avoid arbitration, and there is also a $25 million mutual option for 2020.
