This is beyond ludicrous now.

The Red Wings on Tuesday revealed yet another injury.

Coach Mike Babcock told reporters at the morning skate that forward Gustav Nyquist has a groin injury that could keep him out up to 10 days.

In the last few days, the Wings have already called up Tomas Jurco and Riley Sheahan from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) because of injuries to Justin Abdelkader and Johan Franzen.

Abdelkader was injured after taking a shoulder to the chin from Pittsburgh defenseman Deryk Engelland in Saturday's game. Engelland was given a match penalty and has a hearing with the league Wednesday.

Franzen took a hit to the chin from Tampa Bay defenseman Radko Gudas. Both Abdelkader and Franzen have to pass the league's concussion protocol before returning to play.

The Wings are already missing Henrik Zetterberg (back), Stephen Weiss (groin), Darren Helm (shoulder), Jimmy Howard (knee) and Danny DeKeyser (shoulder).
