Rays will host five weekend sets vs. Yanks, Red Sox in 2014

There is still much to be decided about the current season, but the Tampa Bay Rays have released their schedule for 2014.
The Rays have a seven-game homestand to start the year, beginning with an Opening Day matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays at 4:10 p.m. March 31. That game is part of a four-game set against the Blue Jays, which is followed by a three-game series against the Texas Rangers.
Tampa Bay hosts the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox for a combined five weekend series. The Rays' 20-game interleague schedule includes four meetings against the Miami Marlins (June 2-5) and 16 against teams from the National League Central. Tampa Bay plays the St. Louis Cardinals four times (June 10-11, July 22-23) and the Cincinnati Reds (April 11-13), Pittsburgh Pirates (June 23-25), Milwaukee Brewers (July 28-30) and Chicago Cubs (Aug. 8-10) three each.
The Rays close the season on a six-game road trip against the Red Sox (Sept. 23-25) and Cleveland Indians (Sept. 26-28).
