Gum is as much a part of major league life as peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Consider the Tampa Bay Rays left-hander a fan. Like other players, the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner will chew to stay relaxed and refreshed, on and off the mound.
Monday, he received a customized dispenser from 5 Gum, which will stay near his clubhouse stall at Tropicana Field for easy access. The peanuts and Cracker Jacks? Those remain at concessions stands. But if you need a quick stick, Price is your guy.
