The Arizona Rattlers knocked off the Spokane Empire 49-35 on Friday night in Spokane, Wash., leaving the two teams tied atop the Indoor Football League's Intense Conference.

Both have 7-4 records with five games to play -- including a June 3 rematch in Spokane.

The Rattlers have won three in a row and five of their last six.

Arizona's defense set the tone in this one, recording six sacks against Spokane quarterback Charles Dowdell.

Darrell Monroe rushed for three touchdowns, Sawyer Petre kicked a pair of field goals, and Cody Sokol threw two touchdown passes to Anthony Amos and one to Fred Williams.

The Rattlers return home for a Saturday game against the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The game can be seen on FOX Sports Arizona Plus and FOX Sports GO starting at 6 p.m.
