Rangers power past Angels, 10-6

SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) -- Ian Kinsler and David Murphy homered and Tommy Hunter threw two innings of one-hit ball to help the Texas Rangers beat the Los Angeles Angels 10-6 Wednesday.
Chad Tracy and Doug Deeds also homered for the Rangers. Murphy finished 2 for 2 with two runs and Michael Young, playing third base, also had two hits.
Maicer Izturis homered off the left-field foul pole for the Angels.
Hunter allowed Mike Trout's one-out single in the second inning and struck out two in his first spring start.
Angels starter Dan Haren started strong with a perfect first, then allowed three runs on three hits including Murphy's home run. Haren finished his day with a pair of strikeouts to end the second.
