The Texas Rangers have three players who are finalists for Baseball Writers Association of America honors, including two of the five finalists for Most Valuable Player.

Both outfielder Josh Hamilton and third baseman Adrian Beltre are finalists, along with the Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, Angels' Mike Trout and Yankees' Robinson Cano. The winner will be announced Nov. 15.

Texas right-hander Yu Darvish is also one of three finalists for Rookie of the Year. He's up against Trout, who is the favorite, and Oakland outfielder Yoenis Cespedes. The winner will be announced Monday.

Texas manager Ron Washington was not one of the three finalists for Manager of the Year. Oakland's Bob Melvin, Baltimore's Buck Showalter and Chicago's Robin Ventura are vying for the honors.
