The Texas Rangers are returning to San Antonio for exhibition baseball again next year but against a different team and in a different timeframe.
The Rangers have played in San Antonio at the end of spring training each of the last two years, playing series against San Diego (2013) and Houston (2014).
The 2015 spring training slate for the Rangers includes a two-game series at the Alamodome March 20-21 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.4
Tickets for Big League Weekend go on sale Friday. The March 20 game starts at 7 p.m. and the March 21 game has a 1 p.m. first pitch.

The Dodgers have ties to San Antonio as they had a minor-league affiliate in the city from 1977-2000.
