Rangers Beltre hits 400th homer

ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre became the 52nd player to hit 400 homers when he hit a solo shot off Cleveland's Bruce Chen in the first inning Friday night.
Beltre, who has five homers this season, connected on a 3-0 pitch and hit it 413 feet to center.
The homer put the Rangers up 3-2. Beltre is fourth among active players in home runs.

Beltre received a standing ovation after the home run and a curtain call. A banner in centerfield was unveiled congratulating Beltre on the achievement.
