Rangers, Athletics play ping pong with Rosales

Adam Rosales now knows what it's like to be a middle schooler at a Friday dance.
Rosales has been picked up and dumped four times in the last 10 days, with the Texas Rangers being his current employer.
The strange Rosales odyssey when he was designated for assignment by Oakland two weeks ago after being with the Athletics since 2010. The infielder, who is batting just .191 this season, wasn't unemployed for long though as the Rangers claimed him on waivers Aug. 2, just in time for a series against the Athletics.
But before Adams could get his jersey dirty or play in a game for Texas, he was designated for assignment following the three-game series in Oakland.
The Athletics couldn't quit Rosales though, as they picked up him on waivers last Thursday. Rosales even got to play in a game for Oakland, going 0 for 1 Friday in Toronto.
Unfortunately for Rosales, his time in Oakland a second time didn't last long. He was designated for assignment Saturday. He must have made a big impression in his three days sitting on the Texas bench though as the Rangers picked up on waivers again Monday.
Rosales is expected to be in uniform for the Rangers Tuesday when they open a series against Milwaukee.
But as Rosales has learned over the last 10 days, he can't take anything for granted.
