Ramirez exits Indians-Twins game with wrist injury

The injury bug continues to bite the Cleveland Indians right where it hurts.
In the second inning of Thursday's game, Kyle Gibson threw a cutter in a 2-2 count that came a little too inside and hit All-Star third baseman Jose Ramirez on his right wrist.
After writhing in pain for several minutes with the Tribe's training staff and teammates by his side, manager Terry Francona decided to pull him from the game and pinch run Giovanny Urshela at first base.

Ramirez's name gets added to the list of players hurt along with Michael Brantley, Lonnie Chisenhall, Josh Tomlin and Andrew Miller--who is expected to be back Friday.
After the 9-3 win, Francona gave a positive update on his condition, saying Ramirez is "fine" and could even potentially go in Game 2 of the double header.
