Rahman takes 5-22 as New Zealand scores 145-8 against BD

KOLKATA, India (AP) Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman grabbed a career-best 5-22 as New Zealand scored 145-8 on a tricky slow wicket in their last Group 2 match at the World Twenty20 Saturday.
The left-armed Rahman clean-bowled four New Zealand batsmen with his deceptive pace that included the wicket of captain Kane Williamson, who top-scored with 42 off 32 balls after winning the toss, electing to bat.
New Zealand's top order batsmen struggled to pace the innings on a slow surface with Colin Munro consuming 32 balls for his 35, Ross Taylor making 28 off 24 balls.
Rahman had Mitchell Santner and Nathan McCullum clean-bowled in the last over off successive deliveries before Mitchell McClenaghan dispatched the hat-trick ball.
New Zealand has already qualified for the semifinal. Bangladesh has lost all three matches.
