Rachel Alexandra, the 2009 Horse of the Year who gave birth to her first foal in January, is expecting again.
Stonestreet Farm announced the news in a tweet Saturday: ''IT'S A GIRL!!!!''
The farm says Rachel Alexandra is in foal to Bernardini with a filly.
Rachel Alexandra had a bay colt in January after being bred to two-time Horse of the Year Curlin.

In 2009, Rachel Alexandra was the first filly in 85 years to win the Preakness. She finished with 13 wins and five second-place finishes in 19 career starts.
