Hudson will head to the road tonight to meet Stow in a NOC River Division contest looking to avenge a 53-45 loss back in early January. Here are five essentials to get you ready for tonight's match up.

.) Stow is (13-3) on the season with its only losses coming to Glen Oak, Brunswick, and Brush after 6-6 senior David Walker went down with a wrist injury. Stow started the season 6-0, but lost three of its next four in the absence of the Northeastern signee. Walker returned in late January with a fury, and the Bulldogs are 5-0 since his return.

.) Hudson is (10-6), but has been a tough out on almost every night. Its losses have come to Nordonia, Brush (twice), Cuyahoga Falls by a point, Aurora, and Stow. The Explorers won four-straight before last Friday's 55-41 loss to Brush. Hudson plays just one senior, which gets significant minutes so the future is certainly bright.

.) Walker leads Stow at 25.5 points per game and Scelza is netting 18.6 points per outing. Walker is coming off a 31-point performance in a 57-45 triumph of Solon this past Friday. Scelza did a more than admirable job in Walker's absence. He connected on a 11 treys including 38 points in a win over Kent Roosevelt. Sophomore forward Matt Beech (8.4 ppg.) and Senior Mike Waggoner (7.2 ppg.) can also provide scoring punch. Junior Blake Podnar is another option.

.)  The Explorers are led by 5-10 junior Zack Brandy and his 17.6 points per outing. 6-3 junior Ben Gedeon is at 10 points a game. Gedeon has offers for football from the ACC, Big 10 (including Ohio State), Big East, SEC, and PAC 12 to play linebacker. 6-2 junior Alex Mushock nets nine points a night and 5-8 senior Randall Berkley contributes 6.4 ppg. 5-11 junior Alex Albright and 6-2 junior Steven Boslet along with sophomores John Zuccaro (5'10) and Kevin Zullo (6'0) are more scoring options.

.) Kyle Scelza led Stow's 53-45 victory over Hudson more than a month ago with 30 points and five rebounds and Mike Waggoner added 13 points. Berkley and Albright led Hudson with 12 points apiece, while Stow held Brandy (6), Gedeon (8), and Mushock (2) to just 16 points combine.
