President Obama talks Spartan basketball

President Obama had more than signing the farm bill on his mind when he made a trip Friday to East Lansing, home of the ninth-ranked Michigan State basketball team.
"I am also here to do some scouting on my (NCAA Tournament) brackets," Obama told a crowd that came to see him on MSU's campus.
"I just talked to coach (Tom) Izzo. The Spartans are looking good. I know things were a little wild for a while, had some injuries.
"But the truth is that coach Izzo, he always paces so you peak right at the tournament. That's a fact."
Obama, a big college-basketball fan who fills out a bracket every March, then joked with Michigan State fans about their desire for Izzo to bring home a national championship this spring.
"You've already got a Rose Bowl victory," said Obama, who also met with MSU football coach Mark Dantonio. "You guys, you're greedy. You want to win everything."
Obama even went so far as to play to the crowd with a "Go Green" shout-out, which of course received a response of "Go White."
