Posse Dreamin wins Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Posse Dreamin took the lead around the far turn and drew off in the stretch to beat Little Hitman by two lengths and win the $60,000 Jersey Juvenile Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday.
Trained by his owner, Edwin Broome, and ridden by Pedro Cotto Jr., the 2-year-old colt ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11 1-5 and paid $6.40, $3.60 and $3.40. It was the second win in five career starts for Posse Dreamin, who has now earned $92,800.
Little Hitman returned $4.60 and $3.40, while Skirt Stake was five lengths back in third and paid $6.80.
