Poor ball boy gets drilled down under by 120-mph serve at Australian Open

An unfortunate ball boy got crushed in the groin by a Feliciano Lopez serve at the Australian Open on Thursday that reached a top speed of 120 miles per hour.

Lopez and his opponent, Adrian Mannarino, came to the ball boy's aid, but really there was nothing they or anyone could do except give him water and express sympathy.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the match was stopped while the boy tried regain his composure. He was helped off the court and managed to return a few minutes later. Incredibly, notice in the video of the first-set incident above that the lad actually retrieved the ball that victimized him before the pain really set in. That's dedication.
