Phelps falls again at Texas meet, taking 4th in 200 free

Michael Phelps went down again at the Longhorn Elite Invitational in Austin, Texas.
The 18-time Olympic gold medalist finished fourth in the 200-meter freestyle Saturday. Townley Haas won in 1 minute, 47.86 seconds, while Phelps, the American record holder, finished in 1:48.73.
On Friday night, Phelps won the 100 freestyle, then lost to Singapore's Joseph Schooling - a star at the University of Texas - in the 100 butterfly
Allison Schmitt beat Missy Franklin for the second straight night in a showdown of swimmers who won a combined seven gold medals in 2012. Schmitt won the 200 freestyle in 1:56.87; Franklin was second in 1:57.78.
In an Indianapolis Arena Pro Swim Series event, David Plummer turned in the fastest time of the year in the 100 backstroke, a personal-best 52.40 seconds.
