NEW YORK (AP) Perfect Freud pulled a 10-1 upset Sunday in the $67,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The 3-year-old trained by Gary Sciacca set the pace in the one mile, 70-yard race, and held off 4-5 favorite High Ridge Road by a half length. The time was 1:43.38 on the fast track.
Kendrick Carmouche was aboard as Perfect Freud got her fifth win in 17 starts. She paid $22, $5.50 and $5.40.
High Ridge Road returned $2.60 and $2.30. Ansible paid $3 to show.
