Pendley leaves Arizona softball program

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona softball coach Mike Candrea announced Saturday that standout shortstop Shelby Pendley has left the program for personal reasons.
"We wish Shelby Pendley the best moving forward," said Candrea.
Pendley led the team in home runs with 19 as a freshman in 2012 while batting .331 with 55 RBIs. The Rio Rancho, N.M., native started 57 games at shortstop.
