The return of Ryan Anderson should certainly help boost the New Orleans Pelicans playoff push, but the team has managed to stay hot from beyond the arc even without their main three-point threat.

An MCL sprain sidelined Anderson on February 21. He didn't see game-action until Wednesday of this week, April 1.

However, since the All Star break, two other Pelicans have joined forces to become the NBA's 3rd best three-point scoring tandem: Eric Gordon and Quincy Pondexter.

They closely follow the NBA's best beyond-the-arc duo Anthony Morrow and D.J. Augustin, as well as the Golden State Warriors Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Warriors    .470  Curry (.516) & Thompson (.410)

Trail Blazers

Gordon and Pondexter's perimeter assault has helped open things up and spread the court for their teammates, including Anthony Davis, who's averaging 25.1 ppg as the team's leading scorer. Perimeter scoring accounts for 23.9% of New Orleans' points since the All Star Break, which is 15th in the NBA.

The Pelicans will face off against Batum and Afflalo Saturday in Portland at the end of a back-to-back, and then they'll see Curry and Thompson in New Orleans on Tuesday.
