Paul Simon announced Ali's passing during performance of 'The Boxer'

"I'm sorry to tell you this way, but Muhammad Ali has passed away" he said.
One of the concertgoers reported that Simon dedicated the song to the iconic boxer and humanitarian to close out the show along with "Sounds of Silence."
