Pats' Brady hopes Trump has what it takes to be president

Tom Brady was once again asked about his friendship with Donald Trump on Wednesday.
Last week, the Patriots quarterback wouldn't say he was voting for the Republican presidential candidate, but during his latest meeting with the media, he was a little more pro-Trump.
It began when a reporter spotted a red "Make America Great" hat sent to the four-time Super Bowl champion by his golf partner.
"It was a nice keepsake," Brady said. "It could be — yeah, a nice piece of memorabilia he sent me."
The line of questioning wasn't limited to hats, as one reporter asked Brady of Trump the candidate, "Do you think he's got what it takes?"
Brady's response: "I hope so. That'd be great. There would be a putting green on the White House lawn, I'm sure of that."
Naturally, the Donald — who on Wednesday night starred in the second Republican debate on CNN — was very pleased with Brady's words.
A great honor from somebody that knows how to win! https://t.co/syJH9OT0zX
