TUCSON, Ariz. -- Following Saturday night's heartbreaking 69-67 loss to Washington, Arizona got some additional bad news: Junior forward Kevin Parrom suffered a fracture to a bone in his right foot and will miss the remainder of the season.

The injury occurred near the end of the first half and will require surgery. Parrommissed the start of the season while recovering from a shooting to his leg suffered during a visit home to New York. The break in his foot is unrelated to any previous injuries.

Parrom was averaging 4.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 20 appearances this season. He had seven points, three rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes of action against Washington before leaving with the injury.
