Packers schedule shareholders meeting for July 24

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers' annual shareholders meeting is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24 and will be conducted inside Lambeau Field.
"Lambeau Field, with the soon-to-be-completed south end zone, will be an exciting setting for conducting our annual meeting," Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said in a statement. "Shareholders will see first-hand how their support has allowed us to improve our stadium for our fans, and make the franchise stronger for the future."
This year, every season ticket holder can bring one guest. In 2012, 12,500 shareholders attended the meeting in person while another 21,000 watched the exclusive webcast.
The Packers sold 268,000-plus shares of stock in a March 2012 offering that raised $64 million. Fans who purchase stock do not receive any of the normal benefits from being a shareholder, but they do get to attend this annual meeting.
