A day after cutting maligned tight end Brandon Bostick, the Packers let go of another 2014 special teamer.

Green Bay released wide receiver Kevin Dorsey, the team announced Tuesday. Dorsey played in three games last season, totaling two special teams tackles and one reception on offense before being placed on injured reserve.

A seventh-round draft choice by the Packers in 2013 out of Maryland, Dorsey missed his entire rookie year with a toe injury suffered in preseason.

Last year, Dorsey was called up from the practice squad on Oct. 6 and became an immediate contributor on special teams. He was active for three consecutive games from Oct. 12 to Oct. 26, when he played 53 total snaps on special teams, which were second only to Bostick's 54 during that span.

On offense, Dorsey played 12 snaps and made his single catch, which went for four yards. He was placed on IR on Nov. 8 with a foot injury.

The Packers released Bostick, whose final play with the Packers was his infamous botched catch of Seattle's onside kick in the NFC championship game, on Monday.
