Packers make front office promotions

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- There were a lot of promotions handed out by Packers general manager Ted Thompson on Wednesday to his front office staff.
John Dorsey is now the director of football operations after 12 years as the Packers' director of college scouting. Eliot Wolf was promoted to director of pro personnel after serving last season as the team's assistant director of player personnel.
Brian Gutenkunst takes over Dorsey's former role as director of college scouting, while Alonzo Highsmith was promoted to senior personnel executive after 13 seasons as a college scout in the Southwest region.
Sam Seale is now the West regional scout, Richmond Williams was promoted to area scout and Chad Brinkler fills the role of pro scout.
Thompson also hired three new faces, bringing in John Wojciechowski as an area scout, Glenn Cook as a pro scout and Michael Owen as a college scout.
