Packers hire Santana Dotson's nephew as scout

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers have hired Alonzo Dotson, nephew of former Green Bay defensive end Santana Dotson, as a college scout.
Dotson had been working for the University of Houston the past two seasons with defensive quality control. He was previously an assistant coach at Madison High School in Houston.
Dotson played three seasons as a defensive end at the University of Oklahoma and was a member of three Big 12 championship teams.
For the Packers, this is a move necessitated by all the recent losses in the front office. General manager Ted Thompson continues to have key members of his staff leave for general manager jobs with other NFL teams, beginning with John Schneider to Seattle in 2010 and most recently with John Dorsey to Kansas City.
