INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indiana Pacers say they aren't overlooking Orlando, even though the Magic will be without injured All-Star center Dwight Howard.
Howard averaged 23.8 points and 10.8 rebounds while shooting 69 percent from the field against Indiana this season as the Magic took three of four in the regular-season series. He's out for the season after back surgery, and Pacers coach Frank Vogel said he's guarding against overconfidence when the first-round playoff series begins Saturday night.
The third-seeded Pacers have home-court advantage. They went 12-3 in April, and Vogel was selected as the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month on Friday.
Even with all those advantages, Vogel said Orlando's offensive style, which focuses on spacing the floor and shooting 3-pointers, will present a challenge.
