Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley became the youngest winner of the Broyles Award, given each year to college football's most-outstanding assistant coach.

Riley is in his first season at Oklahoma and took over after Josh Heupel and Jay Norvell were fired after an 8-5, 2014 season.

OU averaged 45.8 points per game, which was third-most in the nation. Led by quarterback Baker Mayfield, the Sooners are 11-1 and headed to the national semifinals where they will take on Clemson in the Orange Bowl.
