The Wolverines won two road games this week by defeating Canton McKinley 92-58 and Massillon Perry, 77-57. Deontae Hawkins had 16 points and freshman AJ Harris set a new career-high with 15 points in the win over McKinley. Cleveland State commit Gary Akbar had 22 and Hawkins added 19 in the victory over Perry.

Dayton Thurgood Marshall (5-1)
The Cougars got by a strong North College Hills squad with a 69-45 triumph. Junior Mark Alstork led the winners with 18.

Toledo Whitmer (7-0)
The Panthers handled Perrysburg 44-36 and added a win over Sylvania Northview on Friday, 57-36. Senior Leroy Alexander had a combine 32 points in the two wins and junior Nigel Hayes contributed 16 points against Northview.

Cincinnati Moeller (7-1)
The Crusaders went 2-1 at the Junior Orange Bowl Classic finishing runners-up. Moeller got wins over Coral Reef Senior, Florida (63-58) and Sagemont, Florida (67-54) before falling to Hialeah Gardens, Florida in the finals, 65-59. Junior Josh Davenport totaled 71 points in the three games shooting 28-of-43 from the field.

7 7 Columbus Walnut Ridge (6-0)
The Scots got a pair of victories over Pickerington North (50-38) and Dublin Scioto (82-49). Senior Allasane Kah had 25 points in the two triumphs and junior Rob Wheelwright added 14 in the win over Scioto.
8 8 Garfield Heights (6-1)
The Bulldogs throttled Cleveland Central Catholic, 78-34 behind 16 points from Northern Illinois signee Mike Davis.

Cincinnati Withrow (7-0)
The Tigers went 3-0 at the Motor City Roundball Classic with wins over East Grand Rapids (80-56), Kalamazoo Central (76-75), and Detroit Cass Tech (75-56). Junior Devin Williams was a monster owning games of 27 points and eight rebounds, 17 points, and the finale 31 points and 15 boards.

Shaker Heights (7-1)
The Red Raiders got the week started with a 63-39 win over Solon before falling in overtime to a good Brunswick team, 56-54. Terry Rozier had 35 points in the two games and junior Kash Blackwell tallied 14 against Solon.
11 10 Toledo St. John’s (5-2)
The Titans dropped a spot this week despite winning its only game of the week over Toledo Scott, 90-62. Junior Marc Loving scored 26 points and classmate Austin Gardner added 18 points and eight boards.
12 12 Warren Harding (5-1)
The Raiders defeated Cleveland Glenville, 80-56 in its only game of the week. Senior Shaheed Davis led the winners with 21 and classmate Rashid Gaston tallied 19.
13 14 Pickerington Central (6-0)
The Tigers raced by Groveport-Madison, 74-41 behind 13 points from Ohio University signee Caris Levert.

Mentor (6-1)
The Cardinals made the biggest leap of the week catapulting up six spots thanks to its 3-1 record at the Arby’s Classic. Mentor scored wins over Hurley, Virginia (102-29), Greater Atlanta Christian (102-77), and Charlotte Christian (92-61) before losing to an excellent The Christ School (NC) in the finals, 73-66. The Cardinals set a record by knocking down 53 treys in the four contests. Senior Justin Fritts had 108 points for the tournament, while Danny Wallack produced a 27-point outing against GAC.
15 15 Cleveland Heights (6-0)
The Tigers won their only game of the week with a 90-46 thrashing of Cleveland John Adams.
16 16 Lakewood St. Edward (4-4)
The Eagles went 1-2 at the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach (SC). Ed’s scored a win over Myrtle Beach (88-71), but dropped two heartbreakers to St. Augustine (LA), 52-46 and Scott County (KY), 55-54. Senior Myles Hamilton had 16 points in the opener and 15 against Scott County, while senior Mark Murray tallied 22 in the win.
17 17 Lyndhurst Brush (7-0)
The Arcs defeated Berea, 74-61 and Willoughby South, 80-59. Unsigned senior Curtis Oakley had 31 points against Berea and junior Jameel Moore added 23 in the win over Willoughby South.
18 18 Cincinnati Princeton (7-0)

19 14 Middletown (5-2)
The Middies went 1-1 this past week with a victory over Cincinnati St. Xavier (68-53) before falling to unbeaten Springboro on the road, 49-47. Sophomore Vincent Edwards had 21 points and 11 rebounds and senior Geovonie McKnight was good for 19 in the win, while McKnight added 14 in the setback.

Berlin Hiland (9-0)
The Hawks remained unbeaten with wins at their own tournament over Columbus Brookhaven (67-50) and Worthington Christian (69-36). Seger Bonifant had 21 points against Brookhaven and 15 the following night. Senior Neil Gingerich scored 16 in the win over Worthington Christian.
21 21 Westerville North (5-2)
The Warriors continue to plug away despite star junior Jack Gibbs tearing his ACL. North won its only game of the week by defeating Heath, 79-58. Senior Taivion Thomas and junior Jaylen Benton evenly split 46 counters.
22 22 Cleveland Benedictine (6-1)
The Bengals handled Youngstown Mooney, 66-61 and rival Akron SVSM, 84-75. Senior Winston Grays had 16 points against Mooney and senior Desmond Ridenour dropped 28 against SVSM.
23 23 Akron SVSM (4-3)
The Irish split a pair this week defeating Marion-Franklin, 83-55 and falling to No. 22 Benedictine 84-75. Senior DJ Blanks totaled 46 points in the two contests. Coach Dru Joyce got his 200th victory in the win over Mooney.
24 25 Cincinnati Summit CD (7-0)

25 NR Winton Woods (6-1)
Defeated Huber Heights Wayne, 73-66. Sophomore Ronnie Rousseau led the way with 19 points.
