The Cougars got by a strong North College Hills squad with a 69-45 triumph. Junior Mark Alstork led the winners with 18. | ||

The Panthers handled Perrysburg 44-36 and added a win over Sylvania Northview on Friday, 57-36. Senior Leroy Alexander had a combine 32 points in the two wins and junior Nigel Hayes contributed 16 points against Northview. | ||

The Crusaders went 2-1 at the Junior Orange Bowl Classic finishing runners-up. Moeller got wins over Coral Reef Senior, Florida (63-58) and Sagemont, Florida (67-54) before falling to Hialeah Gardens, Florida in the finals, 65-59. Junior Josh Davenport totaled 71 points in the three games shooting 28-of-43 from the field. | ||

The Red Raiders got the week started with a 63-39 win over Solon before falling in overtime to a good Brunswick team, 56-54. Terry Rozier had 35 points in the two games and junior Kash Blackwell tallied 14 against Solon. | ||

The Cardinals made the biggest leap of the week catapulting up six spots thanks to its 3-1 record at the Arby’s Classic. Mentor scored wins over Hurley, Virginia (102-29), Greater Atlanta Christian (102-77), and Charlotte Christian (92-61) before losing to an excellent The Christ School (NC) in the finals, 73-66. The Cardinals set a record by knocking down 53 treys in the four contests. Senior Justin Fritts had 108 points for the tournament, while Danny Wallack produced a 27-point outing against GAC. | ||

Senior Myles Hamilton had 16 points in the opener and 15 against Scott County, while senior Mark Murray tallied 22 in the win. | ||

The Hawks remained unbeaten with wins at their own tournament over Columbus Brookhaven (67-50) and Worthington Christian (69-36). Seger Bonifant had 21 points against Brookhaven and 15 the following night. Senior Neil Gingerich scored 16 in the win over Worthington Christian. | ||
