MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Chris Otule scored a career-high 19 points and Darius Johnson-Odom added 14 points to lead Marquette to an easy 96-65 win over Longwood Saturday.

Marquette (6-2) bolted out to a 17-4 lead and was barely challenged as it won its second straight game since losing against Duke and Gonzaga in the CBE Classic Nov. 22-23. Otule, a sophomore center who was averaging just 5 points per game, hit all nine of his shots and grabbed five rebounds.

Vander Blue added 12 points as five Marquette players scored in double figures.

Martiz Washington led Longwood (3-6), which lost its fourth straight game, with 15 points and Antwan Carter added 14 points. Longwood was hampered by cold first-half shooting as the Lancers hit just 10 of 31 shots and 5 of 13 3-pointers.
