Facts and figures

- "Little Brown Jug" rivalry game

- The meeting of the neighboring schools has existed since at least the 1930s, but the prize they will be seeking, the "Little Brown Jug," has been on the table since 1949. Madison leads the Little Brown Jug series 36-18 (teams did not play between 1995 and 2007 seasons)

- Both teams made the playoffs last year - Madison lost to Mayfield in the third round and Perry lost to eventual state champs Benedictine in the first round.
