Oklahoma debuts new alternate uniforms

Oklahoma will have a new look in 2014.
The Sooners unveiled their new "The Rough Rider" alternate uniforms on Tuesday.
The front reads "Oklahoma," rather than the "Sooners" insignia on OU's traditional uniform.
Another major change is a new white helmet, which pays homage to Bud Wilkinson's teams that won national titles in 1950, 1955 and 1956. The uniforms also feature a "47 Straight" on the inner neckline, a reference to Oklahoma's legendary winning streak under Wilkinson. The undershirt is also an homage to a shirt Wilkinson often wore to practice that reads "University of Oklahoma Athletic Dept."
The trim on the jersey and the matte finish on the red helmet is made to look like the wood of the Sooner Schooners, and gives the catchy hashtag #BringTheWood its meaning.
