Ohio State VP/AD Gene Smith tweets that he's not interviewing for Texas job and loves his job at Ohio State

Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith on Thursday attempted to end speculation that he's a candidate for the soon to be vacant athletic director job at the University of Texas the old fashioned way.

By tweeting it.

A series of tweets from Smith's account said he's happy where is and that reports that he'd interviewed at Texas are inaccurate.

Smith said outgoing Texas AD DeLoss Dodds is "one of my mentors" but also wrote, "I'm staying at Ohio State."
