Urban Meyer has landed another big recruit in the class of 2014.
Chicago offensive tackle Jamarco Jones pledged to Ohio State on Thursday, picking the Buckeyes over Michigan State and Michigan.
Jones is one of the top prospects in the Midwest and ranks as Scout.com's No. 6 offensive tackle nationally in the class of 2014. Offensive tackle, specifically, and offensive line in general are priorities for Ohio State in next year's class.
His commitment moves Ohio State up to third in Scout.com's national recruiting-class rankings for 2014.
Jones becomes Ohio State's 14th commit in the class of 2014 and its eighth four-star prospect. The 6'5, 290-pound Jones is also a 4.0 student at Chicago's De La Salle High School.
