COLUMBUS, Ohio --For the second time this season, Ohio State guard Kelsey Mitchell has swept the B1G Weekly awards as she was named the B1G Player and Freshman of the Week on Monday.

Mitchell led the Buckeyes to a thrilling 79-71 comeback victory on Sunday at Purdue by scoring a Mackey Arena record 37 points. She scored 31 of those points in the second half and overtime.

The country's leader in scoring and three-pointers made canned four three-pointers on Sunday and was a stellar 13-of-14 from the free throw line. All of her makes from the charity stripe came after halftime. Mitchell also grabbed seven rebounds and dished-out a pair of assists.

This was the second time Mitchell has been named to the Player and Freshman of the Week as she also earned the distinction on Dec. 23. Mitchell has been named the B1G Freshman of the Week five times this season, including each of the last two weeks.
