Obama's basketball skills not so great

One of the yarns we've been spun as members of "The American People," is that our president, Barack Obama, is a good basketball player.
The president seems to like basketball, the president's brother in law is a college basketball coach and the president does seem to follow the sport closely enough to make vaguely accurate statements about it when filling out his NCAA tournament bracket on national television. It's just that Obama himself simply can't shoot.
Watch as the Commander-in-Chief appeals to blue-collar workers by laying brick after brick after brick at the White House's Easter Egg Roll, as an onlooking crowd grows increasingly anxious. Eighteen misses in a row. A layup that didn't draw iron. Overall, it was a 2-for-22 performance for Obama and as the scene grew more and more desperate, Obama turned to a 10-year-old kid to rescue the nation from this brick fest.
"He couldn’t make one," Kahron Campbell of Landover, Md., told the White House pool reporter. "I had to help him out."
We have seen this from Obama before, actually, just not quite to this level. At last year's Easter Egg Roll, which the White House holds the day after Easter, Obama missed seven shots in a row before finally getting one to drop.
