CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (AP) Pacemen Sohail Khan and Rahat Ali shared seven wickets as Pakistan limited New Zealand's first innings lead to 67 runs Saturday on the third day of the first cricket test at Hagley Oval.

Rahat took 4-62 and Sohail 3-78 as Pakistan dismissed New Zealand for 200 in reply to its first innings of 133, just before lunch.

New Zealand resumed at 104-3, in a position to build a substantial advantage in a match which has been shortened by the loss of the entire first day to rain. Pakistan loosened the home team's grip on the match when it reduced New Zealand to 177-9 before some bright hitting by tailender Neil Wagner (21) carried it to 200.

At lunch Pakistan was 6 without loss in its second innings with Azhar Ali 5 and Sami Aslam 1.
