Conventional wisdom has always been that a one-loss SEC Champion is a virtual lock for the BCS Championship game, even if that means jumping over undefeated teams from the WAC or the Mountain West. The SEC gets the benefit of the doubt all day long.

Not this time.

With Oregon and TCU still undefeated along with the big blue darling of 2010, Boise State, smacking opponents around by 40 or more points, Auburn, winner of the SEC West and odds-on favorite to capture the conference championship no matter what happens in this Friday
