At Grand Forks, N.D., the Wisconsin men's hockey squad endured a 3-1 loss on Saturday night at top-ranked North Dakota.

Wisconsin entered the third period tied with host North Dakota, but UND scored twice in the final 20 minutes to salvage a weekend split.

Badgers standout Grant Besse scored his squad's lone goal, at the 10:24 mark of the second period, to run his point-scoring streak to seven games. Besse has eight points during that stretch.

Freshman netminder Matt Jurusik had 35 saves for Wisconsin in the defeat, allowing more than a pair of goals for the first time in five games.
