No timeframe for Durant's return in regular season

Kevin Durant won't play Friday against the Atlanta Hawks and he likely will be out Sunday against the Miami Heat.
That's because Durant is now sitting out practice.
Durant, who has played just 27 games this season, has had some new foot soreness, according to coach Scott Brooks, who told reporters Thursday at practice Durant has had soreness re-emerge in his right foot.
Last week Brooks said Durant would return in about a week or two. However, Thursday Brooks said there was no new timeframe for when Durant could return, according to The Oklahoman.
On March 4, Durant told media he was definitely going to return this regular season. He had been practicing more in the past week, participating in parts of practice, including doing shooting and individual workouts.
"You're going to have peaks and valleys," Brooks told The Oklahoman. "He's definitely not playing (Friday). That's all a part of the process with his rehab."
Initially, Durant missed the first 17 games of the season recovering from a Jones Fracture in his right foot. He sprained his right ankle, which cost Durant another six games in December. It was not related to the original foot injury. In January, Durant missed four games with a sprained toe on his left foot and then he had surgery to alleviate discomfort from the Jones Fracture because it caused soreness.
