SAN ANTONIO -- The gap between Texas rivals San Antonio and Dallas expanded on Friday with the Spurs 101-89 home blowout victory over a Mavs club that is desperate for any sort of positive news. Maybe they will get some on Saturday as Dirk Nowitzki is talking about being "almost ready" to end his nine-game stint in street clothes due to a sprained knee. But in the meantime?
