No deals for Hill, Hibbert

The Pacers decided against giving guard George Hill and center Roy Hibbert contract extensions before Wednesday's deadline.
Hibbert said last week that he likely wasn't going to accept an extension offer because he wanted to be a restricted free agent, which means the Pacers can match any offer made to him, this summer. Hibbert said he won't let his contract situation be a distraction the rest of the season.
"To tell you the truth, I've had conversations with the sports psychologist about how we go about doing this, and I was told to basically put it away," Hibbert said. "Whatever happens, happens. My agent has been doing this for years so whatever he says I'm going to go by it. He wants me to wait so I'm going to wait."
Hill was a little surprised he didn't get an extension. The Pacers acquired him on draft night last summer for the No. 15 pick, Kawhi Leonard.
"I thought it was going to happen after hearing they wanted to keep me here," Hill said. "I think everything my side did was reasonable. You never know how that is going to go. It's a business and both sides came to the conclusion that we didn't meet up where we wanted to meet. We just have to see what happens."
After beating the Bulls 95-90 on Wednesday, the Pacers are next in action Friday at the Celtics.
