The injuries keep piling up on the Lakers, as Nick Young will miss at least two weeks with a nondisplaced fracture in the patella of his left knee.

Nick Young will be out at least two weeks because of a nondisplaced fracture in the patella of his left knee. He also sustained a bone bruise in the knee.

Young was injured while going in for a layup attempt on a fast break in the second quarter of the Lakers' 119-108 victory Wednesday over Cleveland.

Cavaliers guard C.J. Miles grabbed Young from behind, forcing him to plant unsteadily under the basket.

Young wasn't happy about it after the game.

"They were down 30," he said. "He could have let me have a layup."

The Cavaliers trailed by 29 points earlier in the quarter.

The Lakers quickly found a temporary replacement for Young: veteran forward Shawne Williams, who will sign a 10-day contract and join the team in time for Friday's game against Philadelphia.

Williams averaged 5.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 32 games with the Lakers this season. He was cut a month ago before his contract became guaranteed. Young is averaging 16.9 points, second on the team to only Pau Gasol.
