NFL labor talks with mediator enter 6th day

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Brian Dawkins, Mike Vrabel and Jeff Saturday are taking part in the NFL labor talks as the sessions with the league, the players' union and a federal mediator moved into a sixth day.
Denver Broncos cornerback Dawkins, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Vrabel and Indianapolis Colts center Saturday arrived Wednesday morning at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in the nation's capital. They joined Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith and their respective negotiating teams for the talks that consumed 35 hours over the first five days.
The talks with the mediator are expected to continue through Thursday.
The league's current labor deal expires at the end of the day March 3.
