What a week it has been for 22-year-old Trevor Bayne.

Bayne married his long-time sweetheart Ashton just this past Tuesday, and on Sunday, he won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Iowa Speedway.

Ashton wasn't in attendance for Bayne's first career Nationwide victory at Texas in 2011, but Mrs. Bayne was on hand to celebrate in Iowa.

"It's such a special week for me. I was teared up at the altar on Tuesday and about teared up on Victory Lane on Sunday," Bayne said. "Not many women would be willing to get married on a Tuesday and come to Iowa as part of their honeymoon."

Bayne banged doors with Austin Dillon in the closing laps of the rain-plagued race before siezing the lead with 11 to go. Dillon, who led 207 of 250 laps, was forced to settle for second. Elliott Sadler finished third followed by Sam Hornish Jr. and Kyle Larson.

Points leader Regan Smith finished seventh and now holds a 23 point lead over Hornish Jr. and the series heads to Michigan International Speedway.

Bayne sits ninth in points (-90), but nothing is bringing down the young stud right now.

"It's just special to have her here and to be married and have this ring on my finger. I can't get used to it," Bayne said. "It's such a great feeling to know that we've got a lot of years left of racing and forever being married."

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Bayne!
